If you cannot figure out where to start to make a video
ready webpage, this tutorial is for you. We have used a FTP
(File Transfer Protocol) software that makes it faster to
transfer files between your computer and the webserver. If
you do not use any FTP software, then download this great
free software called FileZilla here.
After downloading the software install it.
The next step is getting the required FTP information from
your hosting provider. Typically that would be something like
this:
Host address:
Username:
Password:
Keep this handy, you will need this.
Choose your desktop to follow the tutorial. The desktop is
easy to access than rest of the computer, so it will be easier
for you to follow the tutorial. Open the EasyFLV Batch FLV
Converter and convert you required file(s) to FLV Format.
Create a folder called "Video Related Files" on
your desktop. Use this as the output folder of the Batch Converter,
so the converted FLV files will come out there. If you already
have your video file in FLV format, copy it to the desktop
folder called "Video Related Files".
Create another folder called "Website (www)" on
your desktop. To follow the tutorial, drop a few pages of
your website and specially the page where you want the video
to appear in this folder.
